About Kids Making Movies:
Kids making movies is a brother and sister team! They write their own zany stories, direct their own scenes, and film with their own Sony 8mm Handycam. Dad does the editing for now, however it starting to get help from both children.
It all started when a boy was 7 years old, and his sister had just turned 5. Their father was invited to participate in the SATO48, and the boy overheard this conversation. Being the innocent child mentality, (and knowing no bounds) he asked to participate and make his OWN film entry. His request was granted, making him by far the youngest film maker in the SATO48 history.
The first entry in 2008 was titled simply "I'm 7, she is 5". Quite simple for a title, and the team? "Kids Making Movies" was born. Simple and descriptive.
Other SATO 48 entries:
2008 - "I am 7, she is 5"
2009 - "Fake Flowers"
2010 - "Frog Fall"
2011 - "Child Gone Wild"
