@usmansharifmicky Robotics => Electric Engineering and Programming which already are the biggest deal right now and will be even more in the future. You just didn't get it, cause you, probably, don't notice this stuff around. Well open your eyes and see that popular culture - the crap that makes you notice itself - is a thing that you view using EE, Programming and sophisticated technologies.

I love Khan Academy, but I don't think the kids were learning much there. I mean yeah they were having fun which is great, but there are more 'ideal' ways of learning and having fun at the same time. Also I totally disagree with SEThatered, 'purpose oriented' suggests a sense of productivity that is helpful, making robots that kick other robots off a table is not what I consider productive, but definitely fun.
