@historatia Seems to me that the only credit that should be given to the Moroccans is for the mass rapes after Monte Cassino fell to the criminal allies. The rest of the "French" forces aren't are entitled to much either since, as you say, the Germans withdrew and left an empty position. But, 4,000 Polish casualties are alot for an empty position.
