Zendrive Vs. Ceriatone Overtone Special

Here I am comparing the overdrive channel of Ceriatone Overtone Special 50-watt with the overdrive from a Hermida Audio Zendrive pedal. The Zendrive is being played through the Overtone Special's clean channel. All the clips are played with the preamp-boost on. The speaker cabinet is a 1/12" open-back loaded with an Eminence Legend V12 speaker. The instrument cable is a Fulltone Gold Standard. Recorded with a Sure SM57 into an Avid Mbox 2. First & foremost Kudos to the modal guitar player!! I recently say Robben Ford play at Yoshis. His rig consisted of a Hermida ZenDrive in front of an original Dumble ODS. I put my Zendrive in front of an original Fender Super Reverb. When dialed into the sweet spot you can achieve some amazing Ford/Carltonesque tones without breaking the bank. :)

Good god. I mean, yeah, sure, the amp sounds better but the price difference... This just makes the zendrive look so impressive

The ceriatone has touch sensitivity and dynamic change in tone that the pedal doesn't have, not to mention it is a lot brighter.
