There are many girls who think that they have to start a very young age to be a ballerina. Well that's not true, even adults start in ballet when they haven't had any kind of training for ANYTHING. My sisters started ballet when they were very young and I started when I was 13, and right now I dance better than they ever did. So all of you teenage girls who say that they are too old to start ballet, It's never too old to start something you really wanna do.
It's never too late to dance. I started ballet when I was 15. I was extremely inflexible and unfit. I worked very very hard to become better and got onto pointe and into the advanced class in only a year. If you really want to dance then just dance and dont let anything stop you.
I did the same thing, danced for 10 years and then quit because it wasn't the "cool' thing to do. I didn't dance for 14 years or so, but I recently started again! I don't know how old you are, I'm 28 now, but getting back into Ballet was the best decision I have made in a long, long time. Yes, it is very hard in the beginning, but you can do it if you have the drive and love to dance. I'm getting better every class now, and can only advise you to start again if possible! Believe in yourself!!
i wish i ahd seen thsi comment 6 years ago when i quitted because of what the others said, only god knows how much i miss it :'( i wish i could get back or go back in time i'd do everything defferently :'(
i was a part of this world once...i was part of abllet...i was part of this art...omg...i was a piece of art...every dancer is a piece of art...it took me a lot of time to realise and accept that i am no longer a ballerina...it will always hurt on the inside so i really wanna say to every ballerina or dancer out there...NEVER give up u';r plans and dreams...never give up BALLET...NEVER

dear winda20,
"The race is not won by the strongest,
but to the one who lasts the longest...."
The beautiful thing about being 16 is that time will mend your mistakes. Your life is before you and the best is yet to come!
If you feel empty only Jesus can fill that void, as I hve learned. Simply put your faith in Him and ask Jesus in your heart.
