Personally I did grew up with the older series. But time changes and the same old trick wont work twice. I think what they mean by "Going back to there roots" is by Tactical, Team work, etc. It maybe different but still ghost recon none the less. Sure as hell not Battlefield and Call of Duty. The modern setting is getting stale. This is a good change of pace.
