This is the Belisarius closing logo from 1985. Also includes the Universal TV 1975-90 logo. Seen from the "Airwolf" DVD. A rare wonder. From the CLG.

And I'm a fan of the Revue jingle, so it doesn't scare me.

  • The U is a V, and then when the screen flashes it becomes a U.

  • How odd.

  • It was from 1975-1991

  • My guess is they wanted the logo to shift from an ancient, "B.C." style to a contemporary-theme. Notice the sand is blown off of what appears to resemble the wall of an archaic Roman Colosseum, before flashing to the modern day logo. Keeping with that theme, mind you, there were no U's or W's in the ancient Roman alphabet—they managed to make do with V.

  • This is definitely a nightmare combo.

  • Veird hov that vorked ovt for them.

    Just kidding.

  • just like the golden book video, nelvana, and cbbc logos.

  • Belisarius Productions and Universal Television can be found on Tales of the Golden Monkey, Airwolf, Quantum Leap and Tequila and Bonetti.

and BTW, T&B featured a young Mariska Hargitay who went on to greater success with another show from Universal Television (now NBC-Universal Television) called Law & Order: SVU.

and Tales of the Golden Money featured Stephen Collins of 7th Heaven and the late Jeff MacKay of Black Sheep Squadron also owned by NBC-Universal Television.

  • The Belisarius logo was also from J.A.G.
