In honor of her upcoming birthday/anniversary of her death on August 29th, I have made a tribute video that (I hope) celebrates her gift as an actress, one that she was generous enough to share with the whole world. Included are clips from her films and quotes about her by critics, colleagues, co-stars and the woman herself.

Yes, the violinist is David Oistrakh, and this is available from iTunes. You can also hear Oistrakh perform this song (though a slightly different version) here on YouTube.
