Japanese musician and actor from Hioki, Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan.
He is ranked at number 56, in a list of Japans top 100 musicians, provided by HMV. [1]He has produced many hit singles as a singer-songwriter, such as Junko (1980), Tonbo (1988), Kanpai (1988), Shabondama (1991) and Close Your Eyes (2005). He has also produced twelve albums which reached number one on Japan's Oricon album chart. Nagabuchi has sold over 21 million records.As an actor, he has appeared in some movies and TV dramas, such as The Family Game (1983), Bodyguard (1997), Otoko wa Tsurai yo (1990) and Eiji (1999). His wife Etsuko Shihomi is also a known actress.
