A large crowd of citizen activists organized by conservative community organizers conducted a civil protest at the office of Congressman Harry Mitchell on Saturday, August 8, 2009
I've decided to run for the 5th District seat this year. I explain my low budget (no budget) campaign in my videos. I think I've found a way for a candidate to run with out being bought off by special interests and campaing donations. I'd be much obliged if you'd check out my videos.
I have been asking Rep. Mitchell's office every day when he is going to have a townhall meeting. No Answer. I even suggest that he have two meetings-one for the supporters of the health care and one for those opposed- no response.
His web site features a manipulative survey designed to lead one to the conclusion that current legislation is the only way to solve the problems. He touts his achievements to save money, but voted for the bailout with 9000 earmarks. I really used to like him.
And, in various locales, death threats against representatives HAVE been made. Also, I have read the bill, and there is no "death panel". Quite a bit of similarity between rightwingers NOW and the Weathermen In 1960's.Left and Right eventually do the same things.
Well, let's see. In Arizona, a man at a representative's gathering was caught when a gun he was carrying dropped to the floor. By the way, I noticed on your profile that you are 65. Guess you have "socialized" health insurance. While I work and pay taxes for it, even though I have none.
You're not being truthful about them bringing loaded guns or making death threats. One man was found to have a gun in a place where it's legal and just about everybody has one but they also have them when they go grocery shopping. He wasn't displaying the gun or threatening anybody.
....... Nobody has made death threats.
That bill is NOT about healthcare. It's about power over the people. Maybe you should read the bill. I have.
Yeah, when the right has protesters that bring loaded guns to meetings and give death threats to those that disagree, its just a demonstration. But when a well mannered crowd of leftists gather, we are all Che Guevara.
I'm sick and tired of of so called "patriots" helping to waste our son's lives in can't-put-it-on-the-mapistan, but do not care that a large part of our population cannot get health coverage. You fucking pinhead. Go watch your fat friend Rush Limbaugh.
Yeah, when a bunch of leftists get together and shout expletives, throw acid, spit on people, etc. it's just a demonstration. When the right stages a peaceful protest, it's a mob.
I'm sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and disagree with this administration, somehow you're not patriotic. We need to stand up and say we're Americans, and we have the right to
debate and disagree with any administration. - Ever heard that before?

The black panthers carried guns on the Capital steps in Sacramento when Reagan was Governor. In support of their right to bear arms.
