  • I live in MA so what do i do for dormacy???? IT IS FREEZING in winter

  • @alainjj hey , i am thinking to buy a venus flytrap but my question is : i live in romania and here in winter season , it gets cold as hell ....thats not the problem , because i can keep it inside but there are no insects for the plant to eat . To they get into a hybernate mode in winter? and then wake up at spring ? or how . Hope you can help me or someone else . Thank you.

  • i have a venus fly trap but when i checked on i two weeks ago it was growing but not make any traps. it grows fin but it always dies and dose not grow any traps.

  • i don't know why my venus fly trap heads turn black and fall of is it going into winter dormancy

  • @maumastoks all of mine are black :(

  • do i cut the black stalk or the trap itself

  • A big part of the leaves die off (become black). Cut these leaves off.

Some others might become yellowish too. Leave these leaves be (unless they become black)

  • Okay, so I live in Texas and it's now November. It's time for it to go dormant, right? How do I know when it's suppose to actually go "dormant"?

  • i dont want bugs in my fridge lol

  • You should always keep the soil moist, but you need to keep it in a cold place.
