time lapse using a sony a300 and ti82 calc

time lapse video i created using a sony alpha 300 and a ti-82 calculator
i took 500 picture over 5 minutes.

conect the camera remote to here above two points from calculator

the on the camera

I__1__2__3_I =the remote trigger hole

conect 2 and 3 togeteher as auto flash and then to the jack point A and conect 1 to the other side of the jack pont B

the program for the calculator is:
prompt A
while 1
for(H,1,A,1)
end
send (A)
end

once done turn off the calculator, turn it on and go in to program select the program you wrote and press enter on the screen will show up A: the you eneter a number the lower the number the quicker it takes photos

I don't get what the calculator does here. And would it work with a t84?

the calculator tells the camera to take photos evry second or so

Are you kidding me? You can use a TI82? That's .. strange yet awesome. How did you find that out? It's the first time I've heard of it. :o I'm picking the a300 up myself tomorrow.

the a300 is a really good camera you can achive this efffect with other cameras too while using the ti-82

strange and annoying how most cameras companies dont support time lapse with built in features. thanks for the upload.

im sure the image resolution matches that of 30mm film, far surpassing digital camcorders. it's a shame that youtube isnt high enough quality to really get the most out of it.
