My Engagement Party (DIY tips & ideas)

Planning any party can be expensive and stressful. However, there are some simple ways to save time and money!!
I threw a Black, White & Pink themed party for my engagement! It was gorgeous! I had a lot of help from friends and family and did everything without a party planner.

My dress was from www.AmiClubwear.com I was obsessed with it!!

I made center pieces with flowers from the 99cent store and Styrofoam balls from Michael's craft store.

I had a delicious Candy Buffet in the theme's colors! If you do it yourself it doesn't have to be expensive! The most expensive thing about a Candy Buffet is the candy itself. But I searched online and found a great deal on bulk candy from www.AcandyStore.com
I purchased the scoops off of Amazon.com I ordered 2 1oz, 2oz & 3oz variety packs! I had more than enough candy and scoops!! I still have tons left over!! Make sure your Candy buffet is out of the sun because it WILL melt!!

On the invitations I wrote: "Dressing in the theme colors would be greatly appreciated but is not a must." So that people would get the idea that I realllly wanted them to participate! LOL

Your attention to detail is amazing!! are you a professional event planner? And if you don't mind me asking, how many hours in total did you spend planning and decorating everything? Also, do you have an approximate budget of the overall cost of the decor, materials, etc?? btw u're very pretty, u remind me of a barbie!
