Relamping Tips for your Projector

There is not enough mercury in a projector lamp or an RPTV lamp to cause and harm. That is why they are able to be mailed.  Be sure if buying a bare lamp to buy Osram or Philips bulbs! Also to "clean" your lamp when relamping it, blow it off with a can of air. Problem solved money saved!

You are obviously a professional. Noticing that you have special equipment for re-lamping only reinforces this videos message. I would say that the average person may not want to go through the hassle only to have their attempt fail and waste money.

Using someone like you would be a good idea, however, if a person is not going that route, it seems safer to just buy the whole lamp module, just to be on the safe side. Especially in consideration of lamp prices.

Hello There, Im doing relamping for 5 years and is not true what you all saying, I have spacial equipments for doing alignment and cleaning, till now we dont have any issues from customers, we do have some lamp failure its 2% which the original lamps also have this kind of failure.
