The 2009-10 Laser Frostbiting season at Seawanhaka Corinthian Yacht Club in Oyster Bay, Long Island, New York.
Not the windiest winter ever, only one day of the season was cancelled due to high winds (& temps below 20 degrees F).
This time, I tried the camera on the mast of my own and other boats. (I was able to get some shots of myself in this way - I'm sailing 177156). Since the Laser mast rotates with sail trim, I didn't know what I was going to get - but I wound up with some interesting shots.

That's my buddy John- this was one of those shots where my camera was on the mast of someone else's boat & it surprised me later. John has a Harken rig, I can't count the strings in the frame but it should be 5:1 through the blocks multipied by 2:1 through the sail cringle for a total of 10:1. Standard rig & I believe the Holt-Allen setup gives the same purchase.
