NC Science Olympiad: Egg Substitute

In events that require the protection of an egg, like Egg Drop or Egg-O-Naut, you don't want to practice with a real egg, that gets messy. Rather, make a fake egg that is the same size and weight as a real one to see how your device performs without having to wash it out each time.
