The Best TV programme ever made .. intelligent, thought-provoking, great acting, and so real characters.. the only TV show made (then) that had no incidental music.. a tour de force in storytelling, a whole world to immerse yourself into, and worryingly, its probably more poignant now than when it was made. none better.

There is a great web site on the series where you can see all the locations as they are now.The tennis court at the begginning is still there

Thanks for posting this outstanding series, my brother and myself have enjoyed re-watching it. No criticism of the remake but the BBC are incapable of coming up with an ORIGINAL idea like this again. It just shows that drama, suspense and a gripping viewer experience doesn't depend on trigger happy law enforcers or special effects but on good story lines and strong characters. Thanks again for taking the time to upload this gem of TV history it has been appreciated greatly.
