  • thanks! and my the specs on my SK-3 are large yoke, 1/2" barrel in Bordeaux Red, with a 1/2" straight blade.

  • Give the Swivel Knife away. I got one for Christmas. A blue one with a 1/4 in. blade. One to add to all the collection I have. Somewhere on the Internet there is a Swivel Knive barrel made out of a brass bullet casing. It is a sharp looking swivel knive. Keep on practicing with your Red Knife and pounding on that leather. What is up with the black gloves. I seen the Japanese carvers use a elastic rubber glove. I just use my bare hand.

  • @dulcelake .....The gloves i wear serves many purpose..... 1. keeps oils from your hands off the leather 2. when doing Extensive work (im talking all day) your hands get worked and rubbed- bad, especialy when form stitching 3. the knives i use are extreamly sharp and the tough linning inside the gloves will protect me from getting cut to bad if an accident occures and 3. is that unforgiving stitching awl and sewing need..
