  • That's pretty cool. Do you use ear plugs or built in speakers? Just wondering about blocking out background noise. Wind and bike noise.

  • I use the Autocom speakers, built into my helmet. No issues. You can also get ear plug speakers that work.

  • Hi i need some help. I have a 07 r6 and gona get the zumo 500. Would i be able to use standard ear phones, wired ! and also use any bluetooth device, like the ones for mobiles etc ? cheers. I know these aint pratical but would like to know if its possible.

  • With the Zumo, there is a 3.5mm socket for external ear phones, so yes standard ear phones will do. Depends on what bluetooth yu want to use. On the Zumo you can bluetooth your phone and then choose how to listen to the sound. Either phone only, or phone and mp3. I will private e-mail you.

  • Hi thanks so much for getting back to me so soon. Getting the Zumo for xmass so i need to make sure everything is right. Sounds and looks like a good bit of kit. Cheers for your help !!! where you from by the way ?

  • If you get chance go the Zumo 550, which has European maps already loaded. I thought I would never need one, but having sed one in Normandy - Great....

I am based in North Staffordshire, but do travel around a bit, whwre are you, area only please as the reply willbe seen worldwide.

  • Hi, out of interest, I use the Zumo 550 & I have just purchased an Autocom Super Pro Automatic system. (Not yet fittted) What I would like to do is to be able to record commentary as you do, how do you do that?

  • Looks (sounds) super irratating to me, music or a tinny robotic voice! Must help though not tolook at screen on Zumo, that canbe most distrating I find but still have to evn with spoken instruction at complicated intechanges.

  • It can be distracting at times, but it takes the boredom off long journeys. Hvae figured out how to load the mp3 music yet

  • I like the way the autocom works, can't wait to set mine up. There are contrasting views about listening to music while riding, personally I don't think it is distracting. Prodigy is my preference. What do you think. (About it being distracting, not my taste in music!)
