@67thebestman Respect for elders, charity for poors, truth, honesty, boldness, morality, kindness to the creations of God, being nice to neighbours, helping the helpless, feeding the needy, giving justice to the victims of cruelty. You haven't read Islam correctly and have believed instead in your stereotype media. You haven't read the correct books but lies. Read from our perspective then leave if you disagree. Perhaps a lecture named "Empathy", a sociology lecture will help you understand

@sipraomer and moral enlightenment. This world is not permenant, Nothing is permenant here. People born and they die, Empires are built and are crushed, Stories written and told and are forgotten, knowledge is discovered and forgotten and rediscovered and again is forgotten. Memory is lost, things go better and then go wrong. So nothing is forever. We have to obey God in this life which is not eternal to make ourselves happy in the life which will be eternal.

@67thebestman Islam doesn't discourage scientific progress. In fact it encourages, exploration, evaluation, experimentation which are the essence of science and technology. However, Islam tells us not to consider scientific or military power as a goal of our life. instead we must attain Taqwa(Piety) to improve spiritually for improving the conditions in afterlife. The Islamic government system, it's economic system, it's social system, it's ethical system have all one goal and that is spiritual

@67thebestman You may have studied human and social development but by reading your comment on brutality thing, I guess you have not studied the proper undistorted history of the world(especially the Islamic History). I will refer one event in Islamic history as a tip, When the mongols(Ghanghiz Khan) conquered and crushed the Muslim Empire, it was the Spiritual / Intellectual/ Sufic Islam which converted the conquerors and proved that true belief is more stronger than force.

(1). Why do Wahabies pray Tarawih for 30 Nights of Ramadhan in congregation?
Our Rasool (saw) offered Tahajjud congregational prayers (or so called Tarawih) for just three nights during Ramadhan. Why have you extended this Sunnah of three nights to an entire thirty nights during Ramadhan?
Moreover, why have you restricted it to the thirty nights of Ramadhan and not three hundred and sixty five nights a year? (i.e. Did Rasool ever tell you that this Congregational Tarawih prayer can only be of

@sipraomer I wish you well, but at some moments in your life dare to question what you are being instructed and give some critical and objective consideration to the reality of history and the development of mankind and its social evolment. Great achievments have been made and most will of course be lost. This may not be important to you, but then islam teaches only aderhance to the ways of its view of the world so you will be happy I guess.

@sipraomer This self destruction is clearly seen in almost all social communities that have been swallowed by this onslaught. Self denial is a strong element in its success and the old maxim is also clearly seen in your comment to me and that is if you create enough takyyia it will be acted upon by your supporters and believed by your enemies.

@sipraomer I have studied human and social development for forty years and yes I agree all civilsations have fallen and declined and probably will do so, but Islam is not built on creative achievment in the areas of science or social reform - it has grown and rules on the strength of its brutal uncontrolled violence and inbuilt containment of any intellectial development. This allows for a massive expansion but also holds the seeds for self destruction.
