After the Toronto Maple Leafs chose their nine selections at the 2011 NHL Entry Draft in Minnesota, GM Brian Burke said the team was focused on drafting players with character. And if you spend any time with their two first round selections, Tyler Biggs and Stuart Percy, it becomes abundantly clear they fit that mold.

Biggs will continue his development this fall when he joins Miami University's program in Oxford, Ohio, while Percy will head back to the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors of the Ontario League and try to put the disappointing end to last season behind him. But before they switch their focus to next season, the Maple Leafs gave them their first taste of professional hockey at a development camp in Etobicoke, Ont.

Adam Proteau takes a closer look at the Leafs' top prospects from the 2011 draft.
