  • Good capturing guys, and thanks again for your help that day. I have to say, the loco did extremely well having started the climb at about 30mph and was still doing 27.5mph by Stoneycombe its quite incredibly in itself i think. Apprantly according to my friend, that 67 has been having problems for the last month! On Tangmere's folkstone trip it failed, on Clan Line's VSOE trip it failed, both of those had to be taken by a Class 66! So they probably chose the wrong diesel!!!

    So May 17th is off?

  • Yes May 17th is off, not a problem with 71000, NR will not let the trip run as it was originally booked for 6024+71000.

Max speed on the lower part of the bank was 41mph.
