A guy falls in love with a girl, but the guy started having drinking problems. Then after he started drinking, he went around town acting super angry and crazy. He went home and after he got his mind back together, the towns people were angry at him. He realized what he had done, but it was too late. The towns people kicked him out. The song is basically talking about the girl still there waiting for him. Cute song rite? :D
