this isnt a 1.8vti

my 1.4 is that fast with 90 hp. this is maximum a 1.4 with chip till 8k rpm, or your car-tuner sucks.

@tralapilz This has a VTi dashboard if it was a 1.5 the revcounter would redline at 6.7k rpm as you can see the redline on this is 8k rpm. Also the VTEC-E is a D15Z6 which has 3 stage VTEC designed for economy, is SOHC and works on the inlet valve only. The high revving performance VTEC engines are DOHC and VTEC operates on both inlet and exhaust valves. Yes by raising the rev limiter you can make an engine rev higher but it doesn't mean it is safe for it to do so. What software did you use?

Had one in 5D hatchback.. Fantastic engine, but gearbox was a nightmare to live with everyday. Way too long 1st and 2nd, no way to use engine powerband within urban speed limits.

@thelivingdodo lol so wrong i dont believe this is vti, I just setup a standard bmw 2.0 6 legged engine rev 9 fine if i want it to i set the limiter to 8200 rpm cuz its only balanced for 9200 rpm

@kuscheltuer i think your 1.4 feels fast to you cos its a big step up from the slow brain you have... i have a 1.5 vtec that will whip a d14... and i also have the 1.8vtec....it will do 0-60 and back down to 0mph before your d14 or my 1.5vtec hits 60mph.
