  • Wow - awesome. I just started working out with kettlebells. I have the Skogg and Cotter DVDs but thought I would check out what others are doing on YouTube. It's awesome to see women doing this and lifting heavy weight. I get so sick of listening to other guys say women can't lift weights. I'm subscribing. I do have one question though. I see you don't take a break between the different lifts/swings. I've seem some others take a break and some don't. Is it just a matter of preference? Thanks!

  • @DavidG57 Thanks for your kind comment :) My stance is that there is no "one-size-fits-all" approach and we must respect what our body is telling us. If you need a break, take it. There is no point continuing to train to failure each time because your form will suffer and you won't get all the other benefits from it - it will seem like torture too - so give you self a decent recovery period until you feel you can continue and putting your best into the next section etc. Hope this helps :)

  • I looked on your chann. Can't find the reps done for this 4 round workout. Can you please share?

  • @1755ottoman Hey there, all the detail are on my blog. Just follow the link under the video. I changed it to take you directly to this workout :)

  • @1usaid Do you see the fast forward bar at the bottom of the video? ... USE IT! ;)

  • I did this same routine today and it worked me out intensely. I used 16kg for the single arm swings and thrusters and 24 kg for the double swing. At the end I could barely complete 5 repetitions of the thrusters. I am impressed with your strength and endurance. I am now a subscriber.

  • Wow! You are strong! Excellent Form. Thanks for sharing.

  • Kitty :)

  • @erka001 They are called "pro-grade" kettlebells. They are used by all professional/competition lifters. All bells are the same size regardless of weight, so it's actually easier to move up as you don't have to adjust to a different sized bell like with cast iron bells. To Kitty, nicely done!

  • You're totally gorgeous with a beautiful accent. Keep up the good work.
