I listen to crytsal stilts because of that reverb, July division does not have reverb and does not give off psychedelic feel

everybody seems to be comparing everything since Interpol to joy division, forgetting that joy division themselves borrowed heavily from likes of velvet underground to david bowie and other proto-punk acts.

@chickenyogurt I listen to Joy Division every day last 2 years and ... no!,it doesn't sound like them.
I mean really do you think that the vocal sounds like Ian?In the begginning I thought it sound really like Morrissey and that the song has that poignant melancholy of Smiths' songs.After a month of maniacal listening to Crystal Stilts I don't care how does it sound anymore.

@invictorium nah, the chords played by the guitar is also used in a Joy Division song, I'm quite sure.
