A tribute to the futility/loyalty of the Viking nation.
Although I'm not a huge Obama fan, I couldn't help put the inspirational song to some very unfortunate events in Vikings history. I made this before the 2008 Season, so you decide for yourself if I was right in questioning Tarvaris Jackson.
I disabled comments for the first year because I figured there would be mostly Packer fans laughing and Vikings fans who didn't get the joke.

  • Or you can be a douchebag and jump on the packer, patriot or saint bandwagon. Or you can jump on the eagle bandwagon and be greatly dissapointed haha

  • @ialrai Hey person yes we do, but the life in titletown wasn't always peachy, there were some dark days in Packerland in the 80's and very early 90's. I'm not bad mouthing the Vikings either, I'll bash my own team if they suck. These people that are Packers fans who are in their teens and 20's better enjoy the Packers success now, because it wasn't nor will it always be this grand.

  • @koryclarke1991 The Redskins twice in the Divisional Playoff 27-13 and 21-17 and the 49ers in the NFC Championship 28-3.

  • @koryclarke1991 They were the laughing stock of the league in the 80's. Before the Brett Favre's, Sterling Sharpes, Aaron Rodgers's and Clay Matthews of the world, We had Mossy Cade, who raped his aunt, Ezra Johnson who ate a hot dog on the sideline. Randy Wright, Jim Zorn, Blair Kiel, Tony Mandarich (the biggest bust in NFL history to me. Tim Harris who had one good season, so the Packers had their list of shady characters back in the day!

  • @willybilly008 Considering that the NFC North is 5-6 in Superbowls, and Green Bay has won 4 of them, I wouldn't exactly say that the Bears are the best team, What was their excuse in 1986, 87 and 88, when they lost to the Washington Redskins Twice and the 49ers and they were all at home. They fell apart in 1989 and won the Division again in 1990. After that they made some playoff apperances but pretty much wallowed in obscurity. I do remember when the Packers sucked horribly.

  • @24adub24 I think he will, I liked what I saw the first time against the Packers. I am a Packers fan too by the way, However I can usually sense when someone might be halfway decent in the future. Ponder looks like he will be!

  • @Fallcorn7 I'm a Packers fan, but I like Christian Ponder. If they let him go, you need to lynch the owners. Ponder made some mistakes, but he's a ROOKIE. I say let him learn from his mistakes, Aaron Rodgers was a rookie once as well. Start building that team around Peterson, Allen, Shiancoe and Ponder. It sucks about Peterson getting hurt. Ponder almost pulled off an upset of the Pack the first time.

  • @koryclarke1991 I agree he is looking like a good future qb for the Vikes, and good luck to the Packers. If 1998 has taught me anything it is that even if a team goes 15-1 that doesn't mean they're going to the superbowl.

  • @APviKINGsz28 Hey, the Packers weren't always this good, I remember when they were literally going nowhere and were the laughing stock of the league. From 1972-1991, the Packers only won the division once. They're good now, but they won't always be!

  • @iRacingWrecks That must've sucked, the whole NFC North is jinxed. We've won like 3 Superbowls in the last 50 years. The Packers have had their share of playoff meltdowns too. I really thought you guys were going to do it in '98. You had a hell of a team that year, you guys kicked the shit out of the Packers twice that year. Does it give you an empty feeling that the Vikes didn't make it and that they lost the way that they did?
