Yea I don't think Nik was ever really in love w/Courtney, she was some1 who made him feel better when his marriage got rough, kind of like what Sam is to Lucky. Nik & Lucky both want those easy fairy tale non-reality type relationships & when they don't have it they turn to another woman instead of actually working on it. Except, Nik has learned his lesson, Lucky never will
