Michael Beasley NBA Career Highlights

One of the most dominant players in college basketball history, Michael Beasley was selected with the 2nd overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft by the Miami Heat. His rookie year got off to a rocky start leading to him coming off the bench while still putting up decent numbers. In his second year, he was able to replace Udonis Haslem in the starting lineup and made progression, just not enough of a progression to keep his name out of the rumor mill.

After LeBron James made his decision, the Timberwolves were able to steal Michael Beasley away from the Miami Heat. All they had to do was give up a couple of second round picks for potentially one of the better young players in the league. Despite Minnesota's terrible record, Michael Beasley was able to make the jump in his third year proving that he had potential to be a star in this league. Let's see how he does once the 2011-2012 season comes around, if there is one.
