Everything was silent, i could feel my face turning red, i hated awkward moments. Luckily it didnt stay awkward for long. My mom jumped up and gave me a huge hug and soon it was joined by my brothers. I was just got so happy so quickly i couldnt control myself and i felt the tears role down my face.
Anna: i missed (sniff) you guys.
Mrs.J: (holding annas face in her hands) we missed you so much sweetie.
Nick: Wow, you look different.
Anna: umm..
Nick: But its good diffrent! like (looks down) pretty.
Joe: ick.
Anna: (slapping him on the arm) well thank you nick! (sticks her tongue out at Joe)
Kevin: Well, i dont feel left out.
Anna: i missed you kevin!
Kevin: ahh that feels better.
Everything was perfect. Then i realized my dad hadnt really moved an inch. he was just kind of staring at me. me and my dad have never really been close. I still blame him for tearing me away from the rest of the family. Suddenly my happen mood seemed to fall off a cliff. Then i realized it wasnt just him, it was all of them. It was all of them who had never really called, forgotten my birthday. 'dont cause a scene' i told myself 'this is supposed to be happy, just say something to dad and let everyone thing your feeling great' so i did.
