@1hobknobs At the gig in Dec 07 in London he was amazing, Always loved his style, he was the one who actually described himself as "tight but loose". So sloppy but pure expressive combo of rapid fire volcanic riffs mixed with hammer ons and pull offs...love it!

@MrFerdel Yes indeed; this was Jimmy Page at his best. By this time he was still reasonably young; had a wealth of playing experience and was in good shape physically. He and Robert had a new manager; Bill Curbishley, who told Jimmy " There's a lot of people hoping you'll fall flat on your backside, so go out and show them you're the best guitarist in the world!".( Extract from Dave Lewis' Led Zep magazine "Tight But Loose".). His utilisation of string bends is peerless.

saw the boys live in milwaukee in 1994 as they world'd the tour...! i have seen many many can i say many concerts BUT.. none like this will ever match ever in time! Saw them again in Miami in 1998 un flippin believiable!!!!!!!!! This is the reason they are truely the BEST ROCK band of all time!!!!
