What's the difference between penicillin and penicillen G (natural penicillin)? Why use broad spectrum antibiotics over full spectrum?

how interesting. i must admit i did not fully understand everything but i got the general jist! currently taking penicillin to combat a throat infection and it started working almost immediately. the white patches on my tonsils disappeared after 24 hours. Will smoking marijuana affect the penicillin? should i refrain from smoking until ive finished my course of penicillin? thanks

Ancef is a first generation cephalosporin drug, and it is thought to act in the same way as penicillin, through beta lactam disruption of the cell wall.
