Colt 1911

Custom Colt. All work done by myself. Beveled frame and slide. Properly beveled the mag well. Added a trigger and ambidextrous thumb safety, both with custom cuts. Polished the rails, feed ramp(s), and barrel. Polished and beveled barrel bushing. Matched all checkering to a two-tone polish (mag release, mainspring housing, recoil spring plug). Custom aluminum mainspring housing, no plastic. Only thing(s) left to do is properly blue the slide and frame, as well as a bevel on the slide stop. Maybe add a bobtail style cut to it. Perhaps switch out the sear and hammer. Then I'd have the get a different grip safety. Oh, and I need to fix the roll marks on the frame/receiver, to match the slide. Yeah..... now that I'm looking at it, there's a lot left to do.....

i'd love to know if you added the bobtail mainspring housing. I'm thinking of doing that to mine.
