Awesome fight scene

I feel sorrier for the Paul Sheldon in the book than it he one in the movie. The one in the book was really living with a crazier Annie Wilkes; very interesting how the movie doesn't cover much of that yet you get the idea of all the suffering this character goes through and what a psycho Annie is.

@CinnabonChan very true. God was she a crazier bitch in the book. They didn't even cover all that she did. But I love this film.

nooooo its not how it was supposed to end paul you was supposed to marry annie no off with your legs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@CinnabonChan Interesting point. Novels always devour the movie. There's so much more you can put into them than a screenplay. Screenplay is nearly the length of a 3-4 chapter book(120 pages).

i love this movie <3

@satellite277 O.K! Here is a list of flaws in your imaginative idea!
1.He did not have an Ak47
2. There is no way that Ak47s are even near that small wintered town.
3. The recoil on the Ak47 is very strong, he is still recovering from a dislocated shoulder.
4.The standard AK47 magazine holds 30 rounds.
The list goes on. But i hope i inserted some knowledge into you by telling you this pointless list. Good Luck next time.

It was a little bit like the book except for her throwing the soup at the wall, breaking the bobby pin in the door, and that cop getting run over by the lawnmower. I loved this movie!!!

In the film I really found Annie to be compelling, because of Kathy Bates's amazing acting. In the books however, she's much worse, is even more sadistic and spiteful, and you really, really, really hate her. Annie is more sympathetic in the films, because her manic depression and loneliness ends up showing a different, sadder side to her. In the book it just makes her appear even more unhinged and grotesque.
