Why I Make Videos

Making videos is the one outlet that I've found that combines all of the hobbies that I've been interested in: Photography, writing, illustration, firearms, knives, gear and playing outside. It's a great way for me to learn about the topics I'm fascinated with. Also, I get to learn from you guys as well. I also deeply value the friendships I've made here.

Looking back, I think it doesn't matter (for me at least) what the videos are about, as long as I'm producing stuff that others find entertaining. In the end, that's what it's all about for me. Entertainment, friends, and maybe a little learning thrown in.

It is unbelievable how much you are mirroring my life. I was a commercial photographer for a decade and shot cigar ads that were published worldwide. I've had a novel published, although it was not worthy of the paper it was printed on. Nature is a passion of mine, as well as guns and knives.

I am seriously astonished on the similarities.
