adidas Urban Art Guide - Making Of (Part 2)

Lizzy Herzer über die Entstehung des "Urban Art Guide", einem Projekt zur Dokumentation von Kunst im öffentlichen Raum. Getrieben von Neugier und einer Leidenschaft für Streetart entstand die Idee, die besten Kunstwerke online zu archivieren und mittels eines mobilen Kunstführers für jedermann erschließbar zu machen. Künstlerin Sasu vom japanischen Kollektiv Hitotzuki, die zum Launch des Guide am 20. März 2009 in Berlin eine große Wand am Dice Club bemalte, berichtet von ihren Eindrücken dieses Events.

Lizzy Herzer talks about the creation of the "Urban Art Guide", a project documenting art in public spaces. Driven by curiosity and passion for street art the idea came up to archive the best artworks online and make them available for everyone via a mobile art guide. The artist Sasu (Hitotzuki, Tokyo) talks about the launch event of the Urban Art Guide on March 20th, 2009 when she and her partner painted a large-scale facade at the Dice Club.
