We often interact with the physical world around us in the periphery of our attention. We brush our teeth, comb our hair and wash our hands and do not need to be mentally involved in every part of that process. It is part of how we function as human beings. However in the interaction with technology we do not use these skills often. In our relationship with interactive products we need to focus and pay focused attention to achieve the tasks we want to accomplish. The goal of the project is to explore the design of physical systems that can be interacted with in the periphery of our attention.
