plus you dont want a gt 500 unless its a older one in the 60s its been proven you may have 500 hp in the gt 500 but it doesnt transfar the power very well to the road build a 302 or a 351 clev they are bullet proff blocks unlike the 4.6 liter

yeah you can build more power with a good ol push rod motor the 4.6 engine are not cheap to build get a 302 ho rollor motor and it only cost 800 to rebuild with all new guts including pistons

i think it would be easier and cheaper just to get a 302 block then stoke it to a 347 or a 306 i paid for a complete 302 ho 400 bucks with 43,000 miles

yeah, sadly when i bought it the dealership didn't have any GT-500s, but i am going to bore it to make it a 5.0

THINK MINE IS LOUDER AT idle but then again im running no cats or mufflers love the side pipes

Yeah, engine is pretty much stock otherwise. Gonna pull it this summer for a full engine build, should wake it up quite a bit, its only catted and muffled so it can pass state inspections, love your blue stang by the way sounds great!!
