or buy a dutch/german toilet. they are the best.

I would not use duct tape to extend the tube.. Because if you get a leak in the duct tape the water will not shut off

If you want more water glue a piece of cork to the top of the flapper and everytime you flush the cork will hold the flapper open longer and use all the water in the tank for every flush...

You are dangerous and you should learn before you spread your Chuck-In-A-Truck info...#1 on the fill valve(Fluidmaster 400A) there is a C.L. marking which stands for Critical Level and it needs to be 1" higher than the water level. This is to protect the water supply from Cross Contamination. #2 the stand pipe can prevent the house from being flooded if the fill valve should malfunction. Lots of people get hurt from a well intentioned handyman!

Pour a quart of vinegar down the tube in the tank. It will clean the buildup in all the bowl holes giving a more powerful flush. All that brown buildup in the tank is in the bowl also, stopping it up for a weaker flush. Let the vinegar set for 8 hours before flushing. Do two 8 hour apps. That bowl has allot of buildup by the looks of the tank. Don't use those tablets that turn toilet water blue. They will stop up your toilet and you'll flush 2 times every time you shit. Here is another tip. If you hold the handle down, it makes the toilet flush longer.

Toilets are designed to flush with a certain amount of water. The line in the tank is there to show where the proper level for the toilet to flush correctly. Can't understand why you would want the water level higher above the line. This will COST you a great amount of Cash over the years on your water bill.My advice is set the water level where it should be.The pipe is called a stand pipe and that is where the water goes from the tube to refill the seal in the bowl.No need for turbo charging. : Thanks for your comments and clarifications, Al. "Stand pipe" - got it.
Without going into great detail on the reasons, sometimes some of us need a flush that's a little more powerful than what some toilets typically can provide. Hence, the impedus to "turbo charge" a flush on demand. Yes, this may cost extra money over time, but many of us feel it's worth it to get the toilet performance we seek, and for it to fully accomplish the task it was meant for.
Cheers!
