no madden 12 is a step in the right direction but it still lacks some features from Madden 2005 so in my mind and opinion 05 was the best Madden to come out to date and wont be topped by Madden12. as far as franchise mode goes its improved but still behind 05 and 07 on the ps2. and gameplay wise they have added better animations but it still doesn't have the total package imo. 12 is a purchae 05 was a classic.

Madden 2010 was a really good game. I still own it and play it from time to time.
