i mean her voice hasn't matured yet so it just sounds like a child singing..not good but not too awful.As 4 Michael ummm mayb u guys havnt heard real music back then but he needs work too.Mayb a vocal coach or sumtn!

@mscocacola24241 ..Right..that's why MJ and JJ both were coached by Seth Riggs..one of the best vocal coaches of all time..I think she sounds alot like MJ as a child..the voices are very similar...Janet was just more shy with her delivery..but I respect Janet for having her own singing style and not trying to copy anyone else including MJ..Several of my Videos showcase Janet singing live..Enjoy! :-)

@janetman1 sorry I don't think janet and mj sounded anything alike when they were kids. Mike had a better voice and his was a lot louder and had dynamic.

@dimestarr91 ..I understand how u feel, but..even the parents have said on several occasions that Janet's Voice and talents reminded them of MJ, this is why she was pushed into music by JOE, At the time of this video she wasn't recording albums, but once she got serious about singing and began getting vocal lessons & coachings her voice matured beautifly..songs like..Say you do, can't be good, love and my best friend, Nothing, Black cat, scream, yes MJ voice is stronger, but JJ sings great, Too!

I love "Good Times." And I loved Janet on the show as "Penny." Janet is such a great actress, even when she was just a child. The lady is SUPERTALENTED!
