nice building its a shame what happend to a building in solvay ny solvay process company it looked like castle then they knocked it down because of people going inside lighting fires and being stupid it should of been saved all the roofs were copper imagine that it like a castle in polan in syracuse its such a shame these buildings get taken down...

Please clarify. was the building itself closed in the 60s? bEcause the whole HRSH operated well into the 80s at least. i think.

I believe just this older building was used until the 1960's and started to fall in a state of disrepair. There were other misc newer buildings used into the 80's more than likely.

I HAVE NOT BEEN THERE IN 4 YEARS. THERE HAS BEEN A HUGE FIRE THERE IN AN ALREADY UNSAFE BUILDING. YOU CAN TRY TO GET IN WHATEVER CURRENT WAY THERE IS. THE BUILDING HAS WAYS IN AND THEY GET CLOSED. IT'S ALL VERY RANDOM. I WAS TIPPED OFF OF MY OPTIONS OF ENTRY. I WOULD NOT CONDONE ENTERING UNLESS YOU ARE OF INDIANA JONES QUALITIES.
