Paul Revere was captured by the British after midnight on April 18th, 1775. As they were marching him back to Lexington the British heard a gunshot and a bell ringing. They asked Revere what that meant, and he told them the townsfolk were prepared for them. That's not 'Riding to warn the British', Sarah, or Jim Holt.
