AAAA.091401Z APR 2008 The video here has been filmed during part of the Rush hour at Praed Street, Paddington W2...Most of the buses shown on the video are proceeding Westward to various destinations, The building opposite where the buses stop Westbound is a Hotel, there is a host of London cabs flying by, plus many a commuter on foot going into Paddington Railway Station, a small part of which can be seen on the video. The news paper seller giving his cry..all adds into the noise of this busy time. The Red coloured building just off the main street used to be the Royal Mail sorting office [ie letters and parcels] but like everything else nowadays things are changing all the time !! take a read of O/T PSALM 46;..The rest of the street are shops resturants, cafes, and not forgetting the Hospital on the left hand side of the street, the street leads up to the Edgeware Road W2 in the far distance...Then around about 8.0pm things have begun to settle down just like a kettle that has been on the boil...The water is still very hot but not to be touched ? Only the brave go even into town in the Rush hour...AR.

AAAA. 231056Z DEC 2009 ....Which is incidently against the Office Secrets Act which in those days a Postman had to sign..`Royal Mail`...I do pray that you are getting the message ? May I suggest that if you can make the system better join up to be a postman !!!...I do pray that you have a Merry Christmas if you can and go for a seach as it it was known in those days...Do note the Title of the video Central London [65]..if you read fully the summary..It was about the Rush Hour.......AR.

AAAA. 231041Z DEC 2009  Dear Sir; Thank you for taking the time to look and comment on the video. During 1958 as a Postman myself and starting work at 0515Z ie 5.15 AM at this time of the year it was very busy. And we were given a Temporary to deliver the mail for us...After the holiday they was the same old griping as you are talking now !!! Now with out going through a lengthy procedure re The workings of the GPO as it was know then...to be continued.......AR.
