This is a preview of a 49-minute documentary from Italy made by Ingrid Demetz, Caroline Leitner and Daniel Mazza.
"I'm like a hermit on an island." This is what Patrick writes about his life as an autistic who lives caught in his own body. With the wisdom of a thinker and the dreams and fears of a teenager, Patrick takes us on a trip into his world and allows us a glimpse of his inner feelings.

wonderful. all the best with the film. Understand Patrick that inability to feel for your experiences doesn't have to be called autism. For some people it is Alexithymia - difficulty processing one's emotions and body messages. For others, Anhedonia, a complication of long term depression in which one is devoid of the capacity for joy. Many things can entrap in a body, in my case it was Exposure Anxiety. Look past the word autism, for many things beneath the word have answers.
