The final Joshi video for today, but more will come, rest assured.

Manami Toyota is undoubtedly one of the greatest women to have ever graced the ring. Her twenty plus and counting career has been filled with Match of the Year Candidates, and many Match of the Year honors, as well as titles, both singles and tag team titles. She would first engage in a heated feud with Toshiyo Yamada, culminating in a Hair vs. Hair Match. From there, the two would tag, and would compete in three tag team matches against Dynamite Kansai and Mayumi Ozaki, which many refer to as the Holy Trinity of Joshi Tag Team Matches, as the two traded the WWWA World Tag Team Titles. Manami also held the WWWA Heavyweight Title four times, which she defended against Kyoko Inoue several times, including the now famous 1995 Match of the Year. Toyota's offense is an incredible combination of aerial tactics, as well as some well hidden power moves, such as her Japanese Ocean Cyclone Suplex, and the Queen Bee Bomb.

  • did she only use that victory star one time against aja kong cuz i cant find any other match she used it in?

  • She used it against Kong in a different match, and went for it against Kyoko Inoue a few times.

  • You forgot a move..

  • Unfortunately, can't have every move on a top ten list.

  • @HaohmaruOfTheWind two of the most talented ever!

  • Awesome!!!!

  • Avanlanche Yoshio Tonic and Victory Star Drop! HOLY SHIT

  • @NewBreed93 I can't imagine a lot of ppl agreeing to do that move.

  • Pure poetry in motion.

  • When I was a kid, I came across some Japanese Women's Wrestling from that era and was HOLY.... I forgot how awesome she was!!!

  • @markinator123 i think it is mainly because she "improved" so much and she was given the best booking of any woman of her time.

    Plus she was "hot"

I respect her but i think she is very overhyped and overrated I don't see anything special to make her the greatest women wrestler ever.
