I wouldn't say this kid was a professional, not at all, he is just an amateur trying to learn, so give him a break. :)
Daniel Kandi uses reason, yet his songs are quality.

FL studio has bad rap because a large amount of new producers create sub average productions with it. In reality when used by the right person FL studio ALONE can produce chart topping hits. (e.g. porter robinson only uses reason and produces popular songs with it and I have seen afrojack use it but I am not sure if he uses / what other digital audio workplaces he uses)
Its not about what program you use, its how you use it!

@mrzero6 You need compression,bass expander,EQ the parameters depending on which note your bassline is laying on,and not a bit of stereo spearation. Thts just a quick review of a bassline and the things it requires to reach its best. I recomend to use the symsynth,great for any type of bass..

I had to reply to Killsadie comment. AND no that's not the reason. I do, and i find it an easy program to use. It nearly has everything i need to use, thats why i ReWired it with Reason.

adamtuliper good comment there, yeah other people have been asking to do EQing and other stuff so i'll try and work on something to find out which is the best way. Watch this space..
