That's what you call being smart. He's a news reporter and acted accordingly within his capacity. He was not affiliated with the Obama campaign and his answer was indicative of the point. Had he answered, I would have subsequently referred to him as a republican because he would have been stupid to do so and that what republicans are know for - their stupidity. I love his answer. He dismissed Newt in the nicest way. "Thanks ... I will not argue the case ... Keith back to you."
