  • I loved the old school one. I'd get this (and the Falcon too) if not for price. Mind me asking how much?

  • @garhoch It set me back 100 bones(!). Not as expensive and extensive as the Falcon was, but still verrrrry nice. I never had any version of the AT-AT (or even a single SW item) as a kid, so this was a must have for me.

The problem now, is I need to find a Veers, as well as a squadron of snowtroopers!

  • Awsome, they had the price sticker at my Toys R Us, but it wasn't acctualy there.

  • @ToaZata99 I was almost not able to buy this. As I was putting this into my cart (and I needed it!), one of the TRU employees asked me how I was doing. minutes later, he came back with his supervisor, asking to take it back from me! He was guessing that it shouldn't have been on the shelf yet. But after a scan from their register, the price came up with no restriction messages, so I was good to go. I know the other stores have a date restriction, but I believe TRU has a lead date on them. Whew!

  • who the hell wants a bigass dog robot?

  • Sweet! Can't to to take a caual peek at it.

  • @cudthedestroyer Other than the size (the out-of-package portion of the video will definitely need to be shot somwher else!), my other problem is that I'm in my "off" week for shooting vids. The best time to shoot video during my off week will have to be after the munchkins are in bed, which during the evening, will present a problem with lighting in an area other than my display station. I'll figure something out, hehe, since I want to open this set really baaaad! :)

  • @Aetherus69 I've seen reviewers flip the camera around and face the viewer when they did larger items, but it wouldn't protect your anonymity if that's what you're going for. I would say given the nature of the articulation you could get away with doing a photo review with voiceover.

Alternatively, if you have a low table you could easily hang a bedsheet behind it to create a man-sized lightbox to shoot in while still keeping much fo your body above frame. Good luck on the review!

  • @cudthedestroyer Thanks, although I'm still trying to determine how I'm going to shoot video of this beast. It's going to be bigger than my video display station, LOL!

  • Awesome congrats!
