@primz87 Actually the term "soccer" originated in England. It has widespread use here in the USA to differentiate between American Football, and what the rest of the world calls football. People who claim americans are ignorant when they use the term "soccer" clearly don't know what the definition of ignorant really is. I use the term football when speaking to a fan of the sport who will understand the context, and use soccer when speaking with someone who doesn't follow the sport.

You'd be surprised. I play on a team and a lot of kids run wide to redirect the ball instead of stop it on point.

@primz87 lol Soccer's just short for Association Football. Everyone used to call it soccer. I don't see why people are getting so worked up now.
